Euroballs: Do those with the highest taxes get value for money?

Europeans all pay taxes, but some pay more than others. The "fiscal liberation day" is the day of the year when taxpayers have, on average, earned enough money to pay for their taxes. The money earned for the remainder of the year goes into their own pockets. It's a race nobody wants to loose.

The first to arrive are the Cypriots on March 14 (with a tax rate of 18%). Most of the countries are liberated in June and mid-year. Last to arrive are the taxpayers in France and Belgium - they arrive only in the heat of the summer. But do the late-comers at least get the best services in Europe, the best benefits, the best roads and best hospitals? The Euroballs investigate whether their quality of life is as good as their taxes.
